Experience the serene beauty of Bonaventure The Cemetery is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. On Saturdays and Sundays, Bonaventure Historical Society (BHS) volunteers staff the Visitors’ Center, located in the administration building at the front gates, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the side entrance to the building is a kiosk housing a database of historic burials. Inside the Visitors’ Center, we offer free maps and directions to the historical area of the cemetery. You may also buy postcards, posters and other gift items, and acquire a souvenir brochure with a detailed map and list of historically significant burials for a donation to BHS.
