Bonaventure Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. We receive no city, state, or federal funding. We rely on membership fees, visitor donations, and the occasional grant to carry out our mission.
BHS membership helps us attain our three goals:
- Educating the public on the rich historic significance of Bonaventure.
- Preserving the man-made and natural beauty of the cemetery.
- Enhancing the visitor experience.
From repairing monuments to tending camellias, adding pathways, seating areas, and bike racks, we are always trying to improve and protect these beautiful grounds.
